Advancing Education Through Innovation
At the Penn Center for Immersive Simulation, research is at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to develop, test, and share innovative training methods that improve clinical outcomes, enhance teamwork, and expand the boundaries of immersive technology in medicine. We bring together surgeons, anesthesiologists, emergency physicians, engineers, and medical educators to explore how simulation — from VR modules to physical task trainers — can transform the way clinicians learn and perform.
