STRIVE Lab advances surgical training through simulation-based deliberate practice, enabling trainees to achieve proficiency prior to first clinical application and improve patient outcomes. We integrate immersive and emerging technologies, including virtual reality, while intentionally developing cost-effective, scalable training models. Emergency Front of Neck Access - Cricothyrotomy VR Module

A hand-tracked VR training module that safely simulates the cognitive, procedural, and decision-making steps of emergency front-of-neck access for structured, immersive learning.

Developed in collaboration with anaesthesia, ENT, and trauma educators, with design and pedagogy guided by high-level principles from the Difficult Airway Society (DAS, latest public guidance) to ensure alignment with contemporary airway management standards.
